Maiaddy Terms of Use

Welcome to Maiaddy. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of all services, platforms, infrastructure, applications, APIs, software, websites, and other products provided by Maiaddy Ltd. ("Maiaddy", "we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using any Maiaddy service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the services.

1. Introduction

Maiaddy builds and operates spatial identity infrastructure for emerging markets. Our core system, loccodes, provides deterministic, human-usable, and machine-readable identifiers for physical locations. Maiaddy products exist to enable individuals, businesses, and institutions to reference, verify, and coordinate around location with certainty.

Maiaddy services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Mapping and navigation services
  • Email and communication services
  • Media platforms
  • Identity and authentication services
  • Developer APIs and SDKs
  • Business tools and analytics
  • Cloud computing infrastructure
  • Location verification systems
  • Fraud detection services
  • Location intelligence platforms
  • Government and institutional integration services
  • Data processing and analytics tools

These Terms apply to all current and future Maiaddy products and services, even if not specifically listed.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Maiaddy services, you agree that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms
  • You agree to be legally bound by them
  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

If you use Maiaddy services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

3. Eligibility

You may use Maiaddy services only if:

Maiaddy may restrict or suspend access in any jurisdiction where services cannot legally be provided.

Maiaddy may add, modify, or discontinue services at any time without prior notice.

5. Loccodes and Spatial Identity Infrastructure

Loccodes are a core component of Maiaddy's infrastructure. Loccodes are designed to function as:

  • Spatial identifiers
  • Location reference keys
  • Data coordination primitives
  • Machine-readable geographic identifiers

By using loccodes you agree that:

  • Loccodes are provided as infrastructure references, not legal property boundaries.
  • Loccodes may be used by multiple individuals, systems, or institutions.
  • Loccodes do not constitute legal proof of ownership, residency, or rights over property.
  • Loccodes may evolve as Maiaddy improves spatial datasets.
  • Maiaddy retains full authority over the generation, structure, and governance of loccodes.

Users may not:

  • Attempt to reverse engineer loccode generation systems
  • Create alternative loccode standards that misrepresent association with Maiaddy
  • Misuse loccodes to misrepresent location identity
  • Use loccodes in fraudulent or deceptive activities

6. Accounts and Identity

Some Maiaddy services require a user account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account
  • Keeping credentials confidential
  • All activity under your account

Maiaddy may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Violations of these Terms
  • Suspicious activity
  • Fraud
  • Security risks
  • Legal obligations

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Maiaddy services to:

  • Engage in illegal activities, including but not limited to:
    • Fraud
    • Identity theft
    • Financial crime
    • Harassment
    • Unauthorized surveillance
  • Abuse infrastructure, including:
    • Overloading systems
    • Circumventing usage limits
    • Scraping or automated extraction beyond permitted use
    • Reverse engineering APIs or datasets
  • Misrepresent spatial information, including:
    • Using loccodes to deceive
    • Impersonating organizations
    • Misrepresenting addresses
  • Interfere with platform security, including:
    • Attempting unauthorized access
    • Exploiting vulnerabilities
    • Disrupting service operations

Maiaddy reserves the right to investigate and act on violations.

8. Data and Content

Users may submit content including:

  • Location information
  • Business data
  • Media content
  • Messages
  • Files

You retain ownership of your content. However, you grant Maiaddy a worldwide, non-exclusive license to:

  • Store
  • Process
  • Analyze
  • Display
  • Distribute
  • Improve services using the content

This license exists only to operate and improve services.

9. Data Accuracy and Location Data

Location data is inherently dynamic. Maiaddy does not guarantee that:

  • All locations are accurate
  • All loccodes remain unchanged indefinitely
  • Maps reflect current real-world conditions
  • Data is free of errors

Users must exercise judgment when relying on location information. Maiaddy is not liable for damages arising from reliance on location data.

10. APIs, SDKs, and Developer Access

Developers may access Maiaddy systems through APIs and SDKs. By using developer tools you agree to:

  • Follow all API usage policies
  • Respect rate limits
  • Not replicate Maiaddy services
  • Not build competing spatial identity systems using Maiaddy data

Maiaddy may:

  • Change API functionality
  • Limit usage
  • Terminate developer access

11. Intellectual Property

All Maiaddy technology and materials are protected by intellectual property laws. This includes:

  • Loccodes architecture
  • Software
  • APIs
  • Algorithms
  • Databases
  • Visual design
  • Documentation
  • Brand assets

Users may not:

  • Copy or redistribute proprietary systems
  • Reverse engineer infrastructure
  • Use Maiaddy trademarks without permission

12. Third-Party Services

Maiaddy services may integrate third-party platforms. These may include:

  • payment processors

  • telecommunications networks
  • government datasets

Maiaddy is not responsible for third-party services.

13. Privacy

Use of Maiaddy services is also governed by the Maiaddy Privacy Policy. Maiaddy is committed to responsible data practices, including:

  • secure infrastructure

Maiaddy does not sell personally identifiable location data.

14. Service Availability

Maiaddy services are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee:

  • uninterrupted access
  • error-free operation
  • permanent availability of services

Services may be modified or discontinued at any time.

15. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maiaddy disclaims:

  • continuous service availability

Loccodes and related data are provided for informational and coordination purposes only.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maiaddy shall not be liable for:

  • indirect damages
  • lost profits
  • lost data
  • business interruption
  • reputational damage

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services in the previous 12 months.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maiaddy and its affiliates against claims arising from:

  • misuse of services
  • violations of these Terms
  • illegal activities
  • misuse of loccodes or location data

18. Termination

Maiaddy may suspend or terminate access to services if:

  • these Terms are violated
  • security risks arise
  • legal obligations require it

Users may stop using services at any time. Certain provisions survive termination, including intellectual property rights and liability limitations.

19. Changes to Terms

Maiaddy may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

20. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Maiaddy Ltd. is incorporated unless otherwise required by local law. Disputes may be resolved through arbitration where applicable.
